It’s not often you get to meet an Olympic champion, but Anni Espar, Spain’s Olympic Gold medallist, was in Stirling today to deliver a water polo master class, dedicating her time to pass on her knowledge and experience to a group of enthusiastic water polo players from Scotland.
Anni demonstrated her world class skills in the water, showing technical water movement drills, passing skills and a new set of tactical drills to the players.
Anni also brought her Olympic gold medal with her and all the players took the opportunity to be photographed with Anni and the medal.
Another fantastic initiative by Strathclyde Aquatics bringing world class water polo to Scotland as part of our Inspire programme, inspiring the next generation of Scottish water polo to take their training to the next level.
