Many children today lack access to swimming lessons due to financial constraints, limited resources, or lack of awareness.

Recognising the need for more children to have access to organised activities in water, I’m building a water polo development network that welcomes all children – swimmers, non-swimmers, and those with disabilities – to the exhilarating world of water polo through safe, fun, and engaging activities. We provide adaptive equipment and coaching techniques to ensure all children, regardless of their abilities, can participate fully. I have built the first two networks in Renfrewshire and East Dunbartonshire.

Our programme fosters confidence, cultivates essential life skills such as teamwork and communication, and creates a healthier, more inclusive environment where all children feel valued and empowered through the transformative power of sport. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of this incredible sport.

I invite you to join me in this mission to empower a new generation of water polo players.
