Slovakia’s Junior Women’s water polo team delivered an emphatic performance in the Basic Round, defeating Scotland with a decisive 15–8 victory. From the opening whistle, Slovakia showcased exceptional teamwork, tactical precision, and relentless energy, setting the tone for a memorable match.
The first quarter was a high-paced battle, ending 5–3 in Slovakia’s favor. Scotland’s Lucy MacNair opened the scoring and proved to be a formidable opponent throughout, netting six goals in total. However, Slovakia responded with a flurry of strikes from Hana Mitrušková, Livia Vargová, and Rebeka Jančeková, establishing early momentum.
